These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and 1570058 B.C. LTD. ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") governing your use of the Pinpoint Chrome extension and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Pinpoint is a Chrome browser extension that provides AI-powered question-and-answer functionality for Canadian legal cases on CanLII (canlii.org). The Service allows users to:

Digital Fulfillment

Immediate Access: Upon successful payment, you will receive immediate access to all paid features of the Service. There is no waiting period or manual activation required.

Delivery Method: The Service is delivered digitally through the Chrome browser extension. Once your payment is processed, you can sign in with your Google account to access premium features immediately.

No Physical Goods: This is a digital subscription service. No physical products are shipped or delivered.

Subscription and Billing

Pricing: The Service is offered at $50 CAD per month (Standard, 1,000 queries) or $100 CAD per month (Pro, 3,000 queries). Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.

Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed monthly on the anniversary of your initial subscription date.

Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.

Free Trial: We may offer a limited free trial. Trial users have restricted usage and must subscribe to continue using the Service after the trial period.

Cancellation Policy

How to Cancel: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal, accessible from your subscription confirmation email.

Effect of Cancellation: Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will revert to free trial limits.

No Partial Refunds: We do not provide prorated refunds for unused time within a billing period, except as described in our Refund Policy.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 1570058 B.C. LTD. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

Changes to Terms
